Your Role:

The Graphic Design Intern will work on various projects independently. In this position, you will grow your design skills, learn new marketing skills, and build your portfolio in a variety of mediums from concept to finished product in both print and web. As an Intern, you will be able to focus on your passion whether it is the print, web, or social media, as well as learn new skills that are highly valued in the job market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create and design print and digital marketing materials

· Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines

· Edit, retouch and manipulate images

· Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media

· Receive feedback from the Management team and make necessary changes

· Assemble final presentation material for printing as needed

· Help coordinate and complete marketing campaigns

· Support the website with product descriptions and photo retouching when necessary

· Concept, design, and execution of social media posts and campaigns

· Design marketing collateral, brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces

· Creating engaging content (including blog and social media posts)

· Design Web Banner Ads

· Respond to various requests for marketing/graphics support.

· Ability to think conceptually and bring forward creative ideas.

· Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities simultaneously.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be comfortable working with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Demonstrated knowledge of foundational design principles, including typography, in both print and digital formats.

• Graphic Design major preferred

Job Type: Internship

Salary: $10 to $15 /hour
